The Future Leader

Proven Leadership in Action: Delivering Results in Business and Community

Glenn Dorsey has been a proud Pensacola resident since 1991, building his life, family, and businesses in the heart of Escambia County. As a longtime community advocate and successful entrepreneur, he deeply understands the challenges and opportunities facing District 2.

As CEO of myHomeSpot.com, Glenn leads a dynamic real estate and community association management company that actively manages nearly 10,000 homes across more than 95 communities throughout Northwest Florida. Every day, he tackles real-world challenges in infrastructure, planning, budgeting, and responsive governance—giving him unmatched firsthand insight into what residents truly need from their local leaders.

Glenn also owns and operates a diverse portfolio of successful local businesses that create jobs, support entrepreneurs, and strengthen the regional economy:

  • Beach Laundry on Pensacola Beach
  • WorkSpace225 and Baybridge Office Suites — two innovative co-working spaces empowering remote workers and local entrepreneurs
  • FMCRS — a full-service facility maintenance company delivering reliable services to keep properties and businesses in top shape

These hands-on experiences have honed Glenn’s core strengths: responsible management, transparent decision-making, fiscal discipline, and long-term strategic planning. He delivers real results every single day — not just promises.

Glenn and his wife, Kimber Hadley Dorsey — a Pensacola native and owner of Happy Dog Resort — have raised two children: Luke, a commercial pilot, and Lauren, a senior at the University of South Alabama. Their family story is rooted in hard work, community involvement, and a deep love for Escambia County.

Now, Glenn is ready to bring that same proven track record of getting things done to serve as your Escambia County Commissioner for District 2.

Strong leadership. Real results. For our community.

It’s Time to Stop Managing Problems and Start Fixing Them

Glenn Dorsey is a businessman, employer, and problem-solver who understands that strong leadership starts with accountability, transparency, and taking care of what you already own before chasing something new.

As CEO of myHomeSpot.com, Glenn leads a real estate and community association management company that serves about 10,000 homes across more than 90 Northwest Florida communities. Every day, he works through the same kinds of issues local government should be focused on: infrastructure, maintenance, planning, budgeting, and responsive service. In business, you do not neglect what you already have. You maintain it, improve it, and make sure people can count on it. That is exactly how Glenn believes government should operate.

Glenn also owns and operates a range of local businesses that create jobs and serve the Pensacola area, including Beach Laundry on Pensacola Beach, WorkSpace225, Baybridge Office Suites, and FMCRS, a facility maintenance company. These businesses reflect the values Glenn brings to leadership every day: responsibility, follow-through, fiscal discipline, and a clear commitment to results.

For more than 30 years, Glenn has built businesses, made payroll, managed budgets, and solved problems without excuses. Good business leadership means setting priorities, being transparent about decisions, holding people accountable, and making sure every dollar is spent wisely. It means fixing what is broken, maintaining what you already own, and planning carefully for the future.

That is the mindset Glenn will bring to District 2: focus on the basics, protect taxpayer dollars, demand accountability, and deliver results people can actually see.

Glenn's Agenda: Action-Driven Leadership for District 2

Glenn Dorsey isn’t just talking about fixing Escambia County—he’s already spent decades delivering results right here at home. A lifelong resident for over 35 years, Glenn has lived it, worked it, and raised his family in the communities he now wants to serve. He’s not an outsider reading reports—he’s the guy who’s successfully managed thousands of homes, balanced budgets, navigated infrastructure crises, and kept multiple local businesses thriving through good times and tough ones.

That real-world experience drives a clear, no-nonsense agenda focused on getting things done:

  • Lead with lowering property taxes – find alternative ways to replace property taxes to fund the government
  • Demand transparency in every county decision—open books, clear explanations, no backroom deals
  • Enforce fiscal responsibility—protect taxpayer dollars, eliminate waste, and prioritize projects that deliver real value
  • Champion smart, sustainable growth—protect our neighborhoods, preserve natural resources, and say no to reckless overdevelopment
  • Listen first, then act—Glenn actively seeks resident input, solves problems residents actually face, and delivers measurable results instead of political soundbites

Glenn believes Escambia County deserves a Commissioner who shows up every day ready to work, fight for residents, and build a safer, stronger, more efficient future—not someone who treats the job like a stepping stone.

Glenn Dorsey puts people first. Period.
That’s not a campaign slogan.
It’s how he’s lived his life—and it’s exactly how he’ll lead District 2.

The Dorsey Fiscal Pledge: Your Money. His Accountability.

Glenn Dorsey isn’t just a “fiscal conservative” in name—he’s a battle-tested businessman who knows that every cent the county spends was earned by you. Glenn lives by a simple, non-negotiable rule: Government has no money of its own; it only has taxpayer money.

As your Commissioner, Glenn will treat the county budget like a business audit, not a blank check:

  • Zero-Waste Mandate: Cut the fluff and kill the “giveaway” culture. Every dollar saved from bureaucracy is a dollar redirected to roads, drainage, and public safety.
  • Performance-Based Spending: No more “automatic” budget increases. If a department or project can’t prove a clear Return on Investment (ROI) for the citizens, it doesn’t get funded.
  • The “Take Care of Our Own” Rule: Business 101 teaches you to maintain what you already own before buying something new. Glenn will prioritize fixing our existing infrastructure over flashy, expensive new debt.
  • Hard-Nosed Budget Discipline: After 30 years of making payroll and balancing private ledgers, Glenn knows how to say “No” to special interests so he can say “Yes” to the taxpayers.

Escambia County doesn’t have a revenue problem; it has a priority problem. Glenn Dorsey has spent decades balancing real-world budgets where excuses don’t fly. He’s ready to bring that same ironclad discipline to the County Commission.

Your Money. Protected. Period.

A Vision for District 2: Results, Not Excuses

His clear, results-driven priorities:

Glenn Dorsey is not running for a title. He is running to do the job. He is a husband, a dad, a taxpayer, and a problem-solver who understands that real leadership is not about talk. It is about setting priorities, making tough decisions, and delivering results people can actually see.

District 2 should not have to beg for basics. With Glenn Dorsey, it will have a commissioner focused on action, accountability, and getting the job done.

Proven leadership. Real results.
